PA State Museum


Harrisburg’s museums and art galleries offer plenty to explore this winter. The Art Association is showcasing A Timely Retrospective by Ann Benton Yeager from November 22 to January 3, featuring some of her early works and shows the progression of what she is currently working on. At the Susquehanna Art Museum, don’t miss the upcoming exhibit You Thread in Me by Morgan Ford Willingham, running from December 4 to February 23 exploring motherhood. The State Museum of Pennsylvania is perfect for family visits, with its many permanent exhibits including Mammal Hall, bringing Pennsylvania wildlife to life. History buffs will also enjoy the National Civil War Museum, diving deep into America’s past.
